move. Bresee at 290 plus and CAN MOVE. Miles at 265 and can move.....not to mention Williams. Dline is going to be much improved next year... Linebackers won't get worn out having to blitz every other down...Secondary won't have to cover a guy for a week and a half...

He's a really big dude that will lean up some with spring practice and summer workouts.

By bet is Capehart will add more muscle and because of that will actually gain some weight. Be nice to tone up and gain about 10 tp 15 lbs.

That's quite possible. Depends how much fat he has on those bones right now.
I'm just saying his body will be much different in August than it is now.

I believe I read that he actually did a lot of that reshaping when he went to IMG.
That was the reason for his huge success this season against the tougher competition.
I'm sure the college weightroom will further that development, but don't be surprised if those changes in size or body type are smaller than most freshmen.

Sacks for our DEs
We need to see all of our DLs be more active with their hands. I feel like we aren’t developing them as well as we used to.

I've said this since he committed...Capehart is the gem of this draft. Under the radar with other big names with this 2020 recruiting class, but this guy is a FREAK!!! It's about to manifest and people are going to see his shear dominance. Go Tigers!!!

Current DL better grind hard in the offseason because unless things have changed, all starting positions are up for grabs!

You said it. I think Davis is solid but everything else is wide open! Coach DS and BV are going to put the best on the field regardless. Semper Fi!

Be honest here: Davis is one of the nation's best DTs. How many other true freshmen were out there putting up double-digits TFLs and 6.5 sacks at any position - much less playing the nose in a 3-man front? He was incredibly active and athletic and anchored well. I'd be stunned if he's not an All-American at some point.

Oh, I agree. I just said solid as in solidified as a starter. Rare to see a Freshman do what he did at tackle/nose. Definitely showed why the coaches raved about him all pre-season.

Xavier Thomas & KJ Henry better get on the peanut butter & weight gainer diet this spring. These last two seasons have proven that it’s certainly not all about speed at that position. Justin Foster has made the most improvement.

They both will be better with rotating players without drop off. Xavier Thomas fresh now is a beast. Dabo will have them ready & so will Brent.
Remember we where in the Championship game against a much more experienced team and even at that we could have won. We have great players still getting better and we are adding some young studs to that.
I can’t wait to see next years team and fully believe we will be better!

You meant Tyler Davis right. XT still needs to have that epiphany IMO.

Those 80 freshmen and sophomores are now going to be Sophs and Juniors + the new recruits, 2020 is another championship year. Mark it down!

We need a Wilkins type 3 tech than can flex out to end in a 3 man front. We don’t have the prototypical players to be elite with a 3 man front.
We will have 2 pocket pushers inside next year and the ends will benefit in a big way.

I think we go back to a predominantly 4 man front. If CBV wants to go 3, Bresee is perfect. Can play end and has size and ability to play tackle.

Bresee is your man. He will play a lot more DE than most people here expect. His pass rushing skills are just that good.

I think CBV is going to have fun moving him around. Think there will also be some more pleasant surprises from RSs. DL should be deep next 3 years (not accounting for future additions).

Coach Baston will have these guys in better shape(don't know if that is possible with Bresee), bigger, stronger and faster, then Coach Bates and Hall will have to fine tune their games but this has the makings of Power Rangers 2.0! with more depth!
