I think the most impressive catch I have seen this season was rules incomplete.... I still have no clue how Nuk got his foot down in the endzone after touching the pylon. The second most impressive was Nuk getting a toe down (or maybe not) while high stepping his other leg in the same game, ruled complete but I could nto tell whether toe was down or not... Nuk has incredible body control.... We can enjoy him this year but I expect someone in the NFL will take him in the 1st round at the end of the season...

The thing I want to see most of all is

for our player assigned to take the QB on the option... to stick him hard on every play with no hesitation. Don't slow your charge down to see if he will pitch the ball - don't worry about snything but planting the QB in the Death Valley turf. If he takes a hit on each play, he will be pitching every time and other players can do the same to the RB.

Agree! An option QB is a legit target virtually every play.

The DEs need to bookend the QB (to weaken & deepen any pitches) or force him to keep so that everybody else can hit him.

Been saying that for years. DE's need to get into the backfield to disrupt the flow.

this is the best way to stop the option. Do this enough and by the second half that QB will be pitching it really quick.

He who shall not be named

It's almost illegal to mention Koenning on TNet. But, you're right. Koenning slowed down GT and helped Clemson to excellent defenses year after year.
He's co-DC at UNC this year and they're a Top 20 Defense.
I remember when Koenning was fired because of his "bend but don't break" philosophy. In retrospect, I think he may have been onto something.

He was fired because he thought he was going to be the head coach, not Dabo, calling Dabo "goatboy". Dabo fired him minutes after becoming the head coach.

Dabo took over as interim head coach. When Dabo was officially named HC after the season, he immediately canned Koenning because of a "difference in philosophy."
There may have been a difference in philosophy, but both of those guys wanted to be HC, Koenning was pissed he didn't get the job, and there didn't seem to be any love lost b/t the two.

"Big game atmosphere"? Really Mick? GT got poled last week by freaking MTSU. This is a bad team. Tigers roll easily.

Georgia Tech players shuffling back to their locker room, dejected and humiliated and embarrassed and demoralized. It also would be nice to see some of them crying.

Well, if we were honest we'd say:
1. 50+ points offensively. 2. GT doesn't cross the 50 yard line or regrets crossing heavily. 3. Cole Stoudt playing the entire second half because we've broken GT's spirit. 4. Chad Kelly getting some practice because Cole's arm is tired from throwing TD. 5. The emergence of a beast on D. Someone who strikes fear into the heart of children when he smiles, and grown men when hes angry.
