Just looked the last big time

Opponent we beat was 4 years ago in the COVID year of 2020. Beat number 2 Notre Dame 34-10 then next week got beat soundly by number 3 Ohio state 49-28. That was with Lawrence and Etienne.
Last major league postseason win was 5 years ago 2019 Fiesta Bowl against Ohio State 29-23. We followed that up with a loss to LSU in the natty 42-25 to finish 14-1. Times have definitely changed and we are now in the preseason 15-25 range instead of the preseason top 8 or so. This is our new reality.

First 2 loss home season since our last losing season in 2011. Dabo now 9-7 vs. SCAR,including 4-4 in the Valley...no Clemson coach has lost more to them at home. Part of that is certainly the Spurrier run.

Yes, we know. Clemson football hasnt been relevant nationally in five years. It’s the new normal. And Dabo is not going anywhere.

The truth hurts!! Yesterday emphasizes the continual argument Clemson beats a weak ACC and is that wrong ?? Nope, it’s accurate.

There was a time Clemson was able to play with and beat any and all teams. That was a nice 5/6 year run, which just so happened to be with Watson/Lawrence.

Under CDS that is. In the 80’s and early 90’s Clemson could and did beat the best of the best
