Good point, stock futures are dropping immediately in the US. I need to go fill my house fuel tanks for mower, generator, boat, etc.

Gosh… if only there was a way to get all of our costs back down.
And be more safe…
All at the same time…
Wouldn’t that be amazing…
🤔 I’ll let you know if I can think of anything.
Hmmm….

Which policy do you credit with the reduction in crime? More policing? Longer prison sentences? More money for mental health programs? Why would mankind all of a sudden just decide they don't want to steal and kill anymore?

Maybe you should reread the guardian article. All those statistics are from incomplete data with only 79% of precincts reporting. Secondly, there was a huge spike in crime because of the pandemic. Of course the numbers are going to fall afterwards.
Next thing you’re gonna tell me is everything is cheaper than it was 4 years ago.

Why would they ‘dramatically’ decrease if at first they didn’t ‘dramatically’ increase?
Inflation is down but the average family of four is paying about 10k more a year in food costs.
Hooray!

I hate to let you know but the inflation we’re seeing today still stems from all the free covid money given through PPP loans and stimulus checks. Trump was involved and Biden didn’t make it better.

I’m sure the 12-15 million illegal immigrants that we are supporting with free money, flights, housing and medical care is killing us with inflation. Three times the population of SC are getting the free ride for now.
In Chicago the people are fighting back because they are closing schools parks & etc to try to handle the people.
One of the plans is to use many of them in the military so they can vote.
This will supercharge inflation no matter what the media sells you.

Domestic oil production is at an all-time high

and gasoline is still too cheap. People need to be incentivized to drive more fuel-efficient vehicles or simply drive less. The status quo in the US is extremely wasteful and no one pays for the externalities of their consumption. We're squandering a limited resource and leaving a huge mess for future generations to deal with.

You’re assuming that future generations will be using that fuel source. We won’t run out of that resource before that occurs.

Walk and/or run to work, the grocery store, any restaurant all you want. In fact, do it twice as much as you would like to do it will make up for me not doing it.
Thanks.
I have never heard anyone say something is too cheap until I just read your post. That’s crazy.

I'm paying a little over $1.15 per liter here in Thailand. About $5.70 a gallon. During my freshman year at Clemson (1970) I was paying 27.9 cents per gallon. A fill up of my Camaro paid with a $5 bill would get me change!!!

Man. Camaro. An old Indian word meaning fill the sucker up again. 😂 That means you had a ‘67-70 Camaro! I always wanted a ‘69 SS with the hideaway headlights and a ton of HP. Amazing that gas was under two dollars for a skinny minute a few years ago.

It was a '67 Camaro with a 327 engine. Bought used with 40,000 miles on it for a little under $1000. Gave it to my father-in law in the late 1980's after putting at least a quarter million miles on it. Still dream about that first car!

From 1988 - 1992 there were 'Gas Wars' all across the area

and word would spread like wildfires. Gas then was usually between $.99 and $1.29 per gallon but when the stations started fighting, it'd get down to as low as .69 per gallon which was cheap.
This was at a time when Pay at the Pump wasn't quite yet a thing and the stations relied on cheap gas to pull customers into the store for their soda, cigarettes, beer and legal amphetamines.
You could get 4 hotdogs for a buck and a two pack of Purple hearts or Buzzer bees from over the counter. You could stay up all night and not get hungry for 24 hours.
Different times.

My first "real" summer job was at an ESSO station during the summer of 1966. There was a gas war with a rival station on the next corner. We got down to .17 a gallon. And that included a windshield wash, oil check, etc.

in Blue states primarily have not reported 100% of the crimes purposely so to make Biden Regime look good..and that’s the truth.
These type of actions are unbelievable in a truly free society but not unusual in governments that don’t believe in law & order and con the sheep citizens until it’s too late.
Just wait til Bidens get another 4 years and don’t have to worry about getting re-elected and you will have wished you’d been more aware of their running this Constitutional Republic more like a Communist-Marxist regime what with their political law-fare, picking sides, downing the better half of the population for being pro-America, religious, for flag & country & not for their political party ideology..
but instead the Bidens have tried to circumvent the Constitution and change America to fit their Globalist ambitions.
