I've enjoyed my time while NOT watching the 2-9 CU BB run...

Thoroughly.
I don't believe our starts anymore. I will only be convinced when I see better than 0.500 through 10 games of ACC play....until then, suit yourself. I'm not wasting my time getting ticked off during the game or for hours after.
I know, I know. You're a better, truer fan than me...because you like to punish yourself emotionally and I don't.

Expectations shot through the roof with the 17-0 start. BUT.

OP has this team heading in the right direction, I was at the game yesterday, had a great time. Minus the loss, but what do you expect on a top 25 teams home court on senior day... thats tough.
Heres to beating miami and VT, and winning a couple in the ACC tourney to clinch a spot.
We played alright yesterday, we lost to a better team. Blair owned us.

Wake me up when we finally "turn the corner" and compete for a whole season.

Obviously the 9 losses suck. But going to Clemson games and watching them with friends is fun. I want to win as much as anybody, but theres more to Clemson than that.
By the way, I dont see it as punishing myself, I see it as supporting the team. If they gotta play the game, i gotta cheer 'em on and not whine about everything.

Sorry, but it's not about YOU.

It's about Clemson and the team. If you love Clemson you watch them and cheer for them through thick and thin. Through 17-0 and 2-9.
The athletes don't pledge 4 years of their life and hours of practice, sweat, and blood for YOU. Most of them do it for something bigger.
And yes it is emotionally punishing and I won't get into the who's a better fan pi$$ing contest, because I don't care. I'm an eternal optimist but I am with you. I don't believe truly until we get through our conference games.
I just wish we would win for so many reasons. The biggest one is for our athletes, the second one is so that people like yourself would dissappear back into the woodworks.

don't watch the less publicized teams on campus more often......every time I live near a college campus, if I have had time, I would go watch anything and everything. Basketball, football, soccer, volleyball, tennis, etc.
Watching DII and DIII teams are sometimes even more fun than big-time sports at Clemson. Those kids fight just as hard, sometimes not even earning any portion of a scholarship and getting almost zero fanfare.
