Just an interesting thought on our dominance over the coots

During the years between 2009-2013 when they had their streak on us, in all of those years except 2010, Clemson had good teams that could compete with coots. Going into those games you knew they were winnable for the Tigers (again, besides 2010). In those years they beat us, we were not very far behind them at all. Then once 2014 rolled around, you knew we were going to win that one. Our young talent looked amazing, the coots were having a rough year and the game was in Death Valley! You knew that was going to be our year.
Now contrast that to the coots current situation. Since we have begun our streak on them, they have been consistently getting worse. They have cycled out so far and we have continued to get better that the gap between us is very large.
Just think about that. After they had beaten us 5 times in a row we knew our time was coming. After we have beaten them 5 times in a row, they don’t believe they’re time is anywhere soon. Must be a scary thought for the little coots to think about how long this streak could go on.

You must be new to the "rivalry" (I use the term loosely).
Those delusional goobers squawk they're world beaters every July/August, then their delusions come crashing down in October. Then, come November, they seem to think they can actually beat us. When they lose, it's a moral victory. Year, after year, after year. Wash, rinse, repeat. It never ends.

I agree they are obnoxious, but I was mostly referring to their state of mind over on FGF right now. If you go and ask any of them I don’t think they’re to confident they’re beating anybody else this year let alone us.

Got to be careful with a double digit prediction. We still have to win them one at a time and just think as bad as everyone says they are and will be into the future, think how embarrassing it would be if they did upend us during that time if they're awful. Like Dabo says, you win one game at a time.

That was the most frustrating about those years. We should have won a couple of those games. Chads play calling was still on holiday in a couple of those games.

And ill-timed fumbles. That's what really cost us two of those games.
