Watson, pre-finger break, why the difference from before?

Before Watson broke his finger, he seemed like a different player from the previous weeks. Was it due to the strong L-ville defense?

They were shifting around a lot to confuse the freshman QB, and apparently it was working. Can't blame Deshaun for that; I saw that strategy work on Peyton Manning during a Monday night game his first season in Denver.

worse with Stoudt in though - he failed to see the LB drop late into coverage on 3-4 different occasions. Louisville could've had like 6 INTs if they had caught all of the balls that hit them in the hands or chest.

It just looked to me like he got off to a slower start than the last few games. He can't throw a touchdown pass on every drive.
