I saw a report that he is in the portal now. If I remember correctly, didn't his recruitment come down to us and Ohio State?

I don’t think there were any real issues with him or Ohio State. He played HS in a run heavy offense and took some time to develop in college. He was hurt a lot. Just couldn’t seem to better than 3rd or 4th option. I wish him well

He was the #1 WR in the Class of 2020. There really are a lot of good players in the portal that could help our team. I'm very curious to see how we play it.

The problem is whenever we lose a recruit a large number of "fans" bash him for choosing someone besides Clemson. People do have memories. Kids might not read TIGERNET, etc...but you can believe that a good coaching staff at another school trying to recruit against Clemson will make sure the kids see the negative comments.

That's hardly unique to TigerNet. In fact, I'd imagine the reaction of Clemson fans to losing a recruiting battle is far tamer than most schools.
