2 mil so far in his career so i definitely can't blame him for going to get the money. That said, it's pretty clear from interviews with Gettleman that he didn't think Norman was worth that much money. I guess a parting of ways was inevitable.

Comparitively , no .
He's had one noticeable year , so I'm not sure the Panthers thought he had shown enough to get that upper level contract .
Oh well , I think he can start his own sneaker line now .

As a Redskin fan I don't like the deal. I think he is good but not that good. He had a lot of help from the rest of his teammates on the Panthers especially the LB's. I think he and Breeland will be a good CB tandem but still not happy about how much money we have him. I was hoping we would draft a corner in the first rd but I guess now we can focus on dline.

They are $3 million over the salary cap now and will be $6-$7 million over after the draft. Norman is good, but I wonder who they will have to release to free up that much money.
