He’s actually worked with Pat M, Joe Burrow, Bo Nix amd others. He might be the lesser Palmer brothers when it came to on the field but no doubt he’s a good QB coach and cade worked with him last year so let that improvement continue and I’ll be super happy!!

insight on what NFL scouts are concerned with. For instance, wasted motion and bad throwing habits that will get you dinged in the NFL combine. Its a big reason why highly rated college QBs end up going in later rounds in the draft... Since Palmer is well respected in that arena its a good thing to get this on your resume. At the end of the day its continuing education. How much continuing education do you think Sheduer Sanders had on his resume? You gotta check off the boxes to get in the club.

All of that’s true, nothing wrong with learning anything.

But all of that is for draft preparation for already great QBs

Those QBs he trained, as you mentioned going into the draft, were pro ready basically. As I mentioned to someone else in the thread

I’d definitely stick to working with someone you have before. Like Peyton.

Rivers is as big if lock as there can be. There is not even a slim chance he doesn't get in one day. Marino never did anything if you go by that. Rivers is 6th all time in NFL history and 6th all time in TDs. He is a lock. He makes on just sheer numbers.

He’s the person I want Cade to train with.

He had the single greatest season I’ve ever seen a college QB have.

His winning mentality is what Cade should continue to develop himself.

I don’t know if Burrow does that with younger QBs at all right now

Palmer is Josh Allens offseason QB coach. Most of his work with Allen came after Allen's rookie year, thats when you saw Allen's mechanics change and get cleaned up.

Yea Jordan Palmer did not have some of the physical gifts needed to be an elite QB, does not mean he was bad mechanically. He understood what needed to be done at QB and seemingly knows how to teach it to the younger generation.

I won't beat the dead horse about current NFL players that actively work with him.

I see you saying Cade should continue to work with Peyton but I was unaware Manning coached QBs on the side, actively coaching a QB and having a guy at one of your camps that only go for a day or 2 is not the same.

I think this will be one of the rare times your posts misses the mark for me.

I have no idea who Jordan Palmer is or how good a QB Guru he is.

If Cade is spending time at a "camp" throwing to three of his top receivers, then this is a high reward . no risk situation.

I love it.

It's actually insane seeing people on here talking s### about this. I'd rather Cade go to any camp and take some of the Wide Receivers with him. It cannot hurt his game in any way. Even if it doesn't improve his game much or at all, who cares? Would y'all rather he didn't go to any camp at all? It's his time and money. I'm just happy to know he's actually attending camps to try and improve in any way possible. Sure Jordan Palmer was a dookie player but that doesn't mean he can't teach. Many players are better teachers than they are field participants. I hate to say it but look at Kirby Smart. Pretty above average player for UGA, wasn't a poster child player that the sports World gushed over, but he's a darn good coach, won multiple national championships now and had ridiculously good defenses at Alabama as a DC or Head Coach. I'd take Kirby teaching me how to a defensive player rather than say Deion Sanders for just an example.
