I'm not clicking on that article because every click is a "win" for the publisher and author.
I will say that it constantly amuses me when one of these "writers" assumes they know enough to lecture Dabo about what it's like to be a poor college athlete. I think Dabo probably understands both side of this equation about as well as anyone could. Also, perhaps the author should take a swing at the coaches on his own campus to see what Ol' Roy or Mack Brown are willing to give back before he dumps on Dabo.

the University of North Carolina compromising its athletic and academic integrity for nearly 20 years to take advantage of mostly black athletes by giving them degrees without attending class or taking tests. They should have their regional accreditation revoked and their athletic programs on probation. They should vacate wins. Yet none of that has occurred. This writer, who seems to consider him a champion of fairness and integrity, should share his thoughts on his team’s/university’s actions before trying to create a clickbait story about our fine coach and university.

Since UNC was founded before the Civil War, I would hazard a guess that there were more than a few blacks "employed" for the first 75 years of their history without pay. Every major University in the state of North Carolina is built either directly or indirectly off of tobacco money, with a large slave work force. Somebody might let him know that our University was founded in 1889 almost 25 years after the Civil War.

I would say that coach Swinney give more money in one year through his foundation than this dime store writer will earn in his entire career! Apparently the degree he will be given by chapel hill isn’t worth as much as the degrees the Tiger players will earn from Clemson University. I wonder if this clown spends any of his time with organizations such as Tiger Life?

One of my nephews, a Tar Hole fan, made a wiseacre comment recently about a football discussion, and I had to set his behind straight by reminding him that his lack of concern was due to the fact that his Tar Hole football program sucked t--- on a hog. Sheesh.......

The only people more 'entitled' than many college athletes are unpaid-but-subsidized student journalists.
What does a student journalist know about economics? Looking over his shoulder, i see at least 5 references to the free market (advertising). Yet this kid pumps out mindless drivel with no understanding that improving his message might actually make his publication more interesting>>marketable>>profitable>> rewarding as a career.
So kid, learn a lesson from Dabo: if you're going to do a job, learn to do it well. Go All In. Or quit and find something else.

Yes, I am a Clemson fan. You are entitled to your opinion without judgment from me. However, I do feel opinions like yours are what is ruining college athletics. These student athletes do not play for free. No.1- They sign a contract ( LOI). Those should still mean something even with the snowflake crowd. No.2- They have better medical care at Clemson than the freakin government which I’m sure you didn’t consider. No.3- These guys do receive a stipend.
No.4- At Clemson, they have PAW journey. This is a program that helps prepare for life after football.
No.5- Dabo has earned his keep. There are countless facts you chose to ignore for the sake of your column.
In closing; maybe you should try to pick on other programs. Don’t mess with Clemson!
