Not one to agree with JK often but did appear to be the case and the opportunity to excite the fan base and energize the team was there for bringing in a guy who just had a high flying offense was the reasoning imo. Streeter as a play caller and schematically not bad at all, qb development left alot to be desired though.

I would say that Riley sucks as bad as Streeter did. Cade has been a major disappointment. Two 5 star qb’s in a row playing like 2 stars at Clemson. I don’t think it’s a coincidence but maybe it is.

The offense will grow as the QB grows. That’s really all there is to it.

I think what we’ve learned is no OC can fix poor WY talent. We were down AW, Collins, and lost turner in the beginning. Also the flu hit the team. We were finally seeing improvement ND-UNC. But losing Collins hurt. Also Stellato is banged up. We can only hope being healthy and bringing in the two frosh WR will improve things next season.

I agree a lot of what you say, but I have one question. When has Stellato NOT been banged up? That’s been the knock on a lot of our receivers in the past few years. Maybe we just have bad luck with injuries.

I’m going to say Dabo wanted to try something different and was not happy after last season. It’s just a thought but I could be wrong.

Can totally see why he wouldn’t be happy.,,Streeter only moved the offense up 53 spots in one year. Just not enough, if he couldn’t move the offense 99 spots in one season it’s obvious why he got fired. I’m much happier with moving down 4 spots, because if could change 17 plays we would be number 1 and that’s all that matters.
