He is desperate. A must win season. He has to win 10 games next year in my opinion. However, I think he finishes 7-6 and he and his entire staff are shown the door.

To be clear, I think hiring Bobby Petrino is disgusting. For obvious reasons. However, if Jimbo allows him to really be in control, their offense will be much improved. Petrino's credentials certainly measure up.
For Aggie fans with a conscience, I can only imagine their disappointment. There are a number of very good OCs around the country they could have lured away at the right price. Why hire someone who is so tainted?

Just keep Petrino away from the cheerleaders and A&M will be better Offensively...but if Bobby can't control himself the whole A&M program will be Offensive

Did he do something besides wreck with Ho on the motorcycle and lie about it ? He disqualified himself from being the face of the Program, but nothing that should keep from coaching. At least,as far as we know he wasn't supplying the players with the Ho's ala Freeze LOL

I am with you. While he isn't 100% quality background but many coaches have done worse and still coaching. Makes me think I am missing something.
He used to have a great offensive mind, I assume he will continue?

Yea, not condoning cheating and lying. But I think if he is remorseful, he deserves a coordinator job. Hugh Freeze got hired by Falwell (ok, maybe bad example)and now Auburn. Y’all trying to cancel the man. If he had beat a woman, then that would be worthy of cancellation.
