Will be Clemson Next Head Coach After Dabo decides to Hang Them Up...
The OC part is obvious to most...Riley is here for a few seasons and then he's off to be a HC somewhere and then Scott will take Back Over as The OC and I'm perfectly Fine With that.
Now my 2nd prediction may be a little less likely but I believe it....Once Scott Takes over the OC and Clemson under Dabo Continues being successful and Scott Is Successful for 4 or 5 years from that point...Dabo decides to retire around 2029 or 30 and the Transition to Scott will just make perfect sense.....
Anyone else believe I'm right?

You think Scott isn't going to replace Riley when he leaves for a HC job?
And Scott is a Clemson man....I'd have zero issues with Scott Taking over Clemson in the future, lots of really good coaches struggle in their first hc jobs...Scott failing at South Fla doesn't mean he isn't a good coach

Right now I am only thinking about the guy we are about to get. The more time that goes by, the less likely any predictions of the present come true because of all of the unknown variables involved.

In all fairness to Jeff Scott’s time at USF. I believe that played a higher level of competition and with the success of UCF it made recruiting very difficult. Let’s see what his successor can accomplish before we rule his time at USF as a failure.
I believe USF jumped to a higher level of competition than schools they played in the past.

Promoting OC's from within. Dabo been there done that! Sometimes you need fresh ideas. In the coordinator world I believe you either got it or you don't.

Dabo has an opportunity to create a coaching legacy at Clemson. I’m a believer that Jeff Scott will be the first Clemson grad in modern era who becomes head coach. I don’t presume to know timing but Dabo knows what’s best for Clemson are coaches who know Clemson.
