Someone posted a comment early that was behind the plate and heard coach tell the ump he's going into concussion protocol. No surprise. Just hope cam is ok too.

Yes. The coaches don’t want him to have to catch every game but I can’t imagine them putting Nick Couch back there to catch a game putting Obertop at DH, which takes a spot from Blauser, Nawrocki or Hinderleider. I think Jimmy’s gonna have to pony up and catch every game

The plan was for Jarrell to catch one game a week. 2 at the most counting midweek. The problem is we have too much talent to be benching players every week or twice a week. On the flip side you can’t wear out Obertop. Coach said it was going to be hard to please all the players that are good enough to play and he wasn’t lying

I do. He’s one of our few lefty bats on the team and Crighton can play 1B if he needs to be in the lineup. Mathes can also play 1B if needed but is a good defender in RF so I think he’s there to stay. It’s a matter of time before Nawrocki locks a spot down because of his bat. He’s one of our best hitters and he can fly

The days when he’s playing as a fielder he should be the DH because of his great hitting.
