C.J. Avery has everything the Tigers are looking for in a defensive back and Clemson has everything the 4-star defensive back is looking for in a school.
Where do the Tigers stand after his three-day visit for camp? What does he say about a possible commitment?

I know it doesn't work with every player that visits Clemson but it is pretty amazing how Dabo and his staff get these young men to "get" Clemson pretty quickly. I would like to be a fly on the wall sometime

There's a difference between a great player and a great player who is a lifelong representative of Clemson. I know none of our "guys" are perfect but Tajh, CJ, etc continue to represent our University well. If coaches are saying this then I imagine he's that type of character. Good luck with your choice young man, we'd love to have you! Go Tigers!

Coach Ford recruited Mississippi well if I recall . That's a talent rich state that has traditionally been feasted on by the likes of Bama , LSU , Texas and the two instate schools .
Clemson under CDS has risen through the ranks to a point now where we have a fair shot at kids like this in states like these .

Avery is a really good db watching his film. Would be great addition reed will coach him up. The best part is if we land him it will be right in the heart of the SECheats territory! Our branches our going lets see if he commits if ESECN will move him down rankings wise! Go Tigers!!!

Another year or two of us finishing at the top will do nothing other than help these 4/5 stars make up their mind. Nothing breeds success like success. Alabama recruits aren't choosing Alabama because of Saban. They are choosing Alabama because of a continued history of success. We need Dabo to build our history. We need that 15-20 year history of success.
