Jackson State 2022 class

not many recruits, I think six or so, coach prime has another six or so incoming transfers, he’s got to go get more numbers from the portal, I continue to believe that this Travis Hunter surprise is more about press release, splash and money and will end up having little to do with playing football, my guess is Travis enters the portal after seven or eight games in 2022, it all depends on when the money gets in his account

Deion Sanders facilitating NIL deals for his sons and a few top recruits while trolling FSU for hiring Norvell instead of him a couple of years ago.

I couldn’t disagree more. Coach Prime is building something special there. Like Dabo, he is someone that these young men would love to play for even if it meant going to Jackson State instead of FSU. You just can’t get over the fact that he was able to snag the #1 recruit in the nation. Give the man his credit.

Yeah because Jackson State screams tradition and excellence like no other. #1 overall recruits go to low level fcs schools all the time. There’s no way it’s only about the money.

I know what you are saying but Jackson State has more Hall of Famers than ole Miss, MSU and Clemson combined . So that’s cool

Coach Prime is building pocketbooks. Plain and simple. He’s not building a program. Don’t fool yourself.
This is all about a deal with Barstool and a Hard Knocks series. Travis will get $3 million+ and then probably transfer after the season and series is over.

You really underestimate these colleges. He's a CB. He's playing for arguably the greatest CB of all time. Jackson State is a historic HBCU that has had over 100 NFL draft picks including Walter Payton. Dion is also making sure his players all get NIL deals.

He’s a showman. Yesterday he staged one of the greatest publicity stunts of all time in college football. He’s great at getting publicity.
Oh by the way he’s also a football coach. Time will tell if he’s good football coach.
His best player probably won’t stay with the team very long cuz he’s more focused on dollars and press releases then playing football.

Unless the team and opponents are putting players into the NFL, nothing changes snd this is just a “splash” and a guy who “thinks” he wants to play for PT Neon Deion…. These talented young players want to play where they think they can make it to the next level AND get plenty of attention.

Travis Hunter is not staying at Jackson State for three years. Once he gets his money he’ll move onto the next highest bitter. He signed with Jackson State for money, not for football.

Let’s not forget Travis Hunter is 6-1, 165 pounds. Phil Mafah would run OVER him.

He’s not being paid by Jackson State, he’s being paid by barstool sports to go to Jackson State, once he gets his money from barstool he gone.
