believe that the reason it is a national issue championed by Trump is because of the fear that the US won't be white anymore.
And I am not even saying such a concern is evil. It's human nature to prefer your own culture or your own values over those you consider different. Every group does it. It's just taboo now because of our history of violent diversity.
Demographics changes do bring about values changes. That is evident in history. You don't have to hate people because of their skin color to be for limiting immigration, even legal immigration. It's not necessarily racist to prefer the status quo.
