What I would rather see in college football

Is for ALL teams to play a better schedule rather than abolish the various leagues. Clemson football for me would be a lot more exciting if they played a team from other major conferences every season. For instance play Wisconsin and Iowa instead of SC State and Citadel. Play a home and away with two teams and change venues after the two game matchups. After the two year games play Purdue and Houston for two games. If all teams did this the game would be more meaningful. Would you buy a ticket to see our Tigers play Penn State in the Valley OR would you rather see SC State??? If every team did this the season would be more meaningful. So would the polls!

pre-season games in college. If that would happen, Clemson could maybe schedule the SC St's and the Citadel's as pre-season games. And then play the Penn St's or Purdue's in regular season.

If the ACC goes to a 9 game schedule things will get worse.
The Carolina game gives you 10 locked in games. 5 home and 5 away. The remaining 2 games will be played at home giving you 7 home games which most teams do. This means those games will only be played against teams who will not demand a home and away. Say hello to crappy teams and good bye to the big teams.

So what would be wrong about playing West Virginia on the road after they have been to DV the previous year? Next game … Kentucky at home then play them on the road the next .

Big boys want to fine tune things during the season and get an easy win. However the little guys really want that chance to be that Appalachian St vs Michigan.....that Old Dominion vs Virginia Tech.....or that Coastal Carolina out cocking Chickenlina ....to make history as well as get bags full of money.

One cupcake per year should be the new standard.

That is better than two! Strength of schedule is important now. With all the changes it will become more important.

Nothing would make me happier schedule wise than to see the military schools on the list. A road trip to Annapolis or West Point would be great for the team and fans, I’ve been to both of those places and you, as a fan, would like it.
