He seems to think it's the personnel (I'm assuming that's what he meant) and not necessarily the coaching.
Interesting that he still pays attention to Clemson. I think he genuinely likes Clemson honestly.

I am beginning to think that Dave Uiagalelei is not DJ's dad. DJ is a respectful kid with a brain, and he does not seem to have the same genes as his idiotic father. No wonder why Tasha Uiagalelei divorced him.

I mean Dave is right.... we should have gotten a qb out of the portal to replace his son. DJ is a fantastic kid, but a terrible qb.
Something tells me if Dabo would have done that, fat dave would have been upset.

Did we get a QB when Deshaun or Trevor took the reins as freshmen? Maui (DJs uncle) that actually coaches eluded to Streeter being the reason why DJ didn’t progress. Current offensive players like tweets when Streeter was fired. Big Dave is just trying to run his mouth and stir the pot like he has since day one

I think Big Dave’s agenda (because he seems to always have an agenda) is to make whatever issues Clemson had the past two years about coaching. Blame the coaches. It’s not DJ’s fault that he wasn’t what he was made out to be.

Agreed. Dave was a hinderance to his son. His mom was always very respectful and well spoken. DJ is a good kid and really represented Clemson well and I am glad he got his CU degree. Dave continues to show the World why he is an a-hole.

The coaches stuck with his son for too long, so that can’t be the problem. Frankly, most other top 10 programs would have brought in a transfer after last season since DJ stunk up the joint so bad.
I do agree that it would be helpful to get some portal wins, but he clearly took a shot at the players and his own son was a part of the “personnel” problem. Not a good look and not really the support that DJ needs right now.
