Again, but after watching last night, if we don't make any mistakes on offense I say lets do it. They play smarter and wait for you to make a mistake. They don't have too much on offense I don't believe. Who knows. I guess we'll worry about it when we get there. Thoughts?

You're right. That game last night was 2 heavyweight defenses, each waiting for the other to make a mistake. Unfortunately for LSU, they got tired and made a big one. The lack of offense was partly because of good defense, but not entirely.
I do think that our defense is as good as either of those teams and if we could gamble without turnovers, we could score on either one of them - which would cause them to take more chances on offense and they're really not up to the task against our defense. If we could get ahead, we would own them.
The only thing at issue to me is the gambling that we do on blitz packages. We sometimes guess wrong and leave huge gaps - as we did against 'Bama a year ago.
Nonetheless, if you want to be the best, you have to beat the best, so let's not be afraid..... spot the ball and let's see who can win..... this year, I think we will do it.

Alabama, Clemson, Michigan and Washington are in the playoffs and we get to choose, no, I don't want to play Alabama.
I honestly think Washington is the weakest of the four and, outside of Clemson, Alabama is the strongest of the three.
If we get to choose, why plays Alabama and gets banged up, while Michigan gets easier shot at the playoffs?
That said, I hope Clemson gets the #1 spot to get to play in Peach Bowl. If it's against Washington, it'd be perfect.

Auburn beating Bama looks like the only possibility for us to move to No. 1 at this point. Anything can happen though.

Bama is a good team but their success this year is mostly a result of their weak schedule. Louisville for one would give their defense nightmares. The only good defense they've faced is LSU & we saw that last night. Now imagine the Louisville offense & the LSU defense combined on the same field against them & you have Clemson. Guys Alabama is not invincible & our battle tested team will prove just that in Tampa come January
