My reaction: I will never pull for those SOBs!! Yes, they embarrassed us fair and square and are a darn good team. Heck, one could argue that them winning out and possibly bringing home the crystal ball at the end of the year means good things for the ACC. Losing our only game to the National Champs could make us seem really good too. But I will NEVER cheer for another conference team in the big game for the rights to shout "ACC! ACC!" Coots do that with their beloved Bama, LSU and now A&M, Ole #### and, MIZZOU. Not every other fan with an ounce of common sense does that shi*.
Long story short: F my friend, F FSU, F the coots! Go Tigers!

the current top 5 and where it is probably headed in terms of the BCS Championship, I have no problems pulling for FSU to bring it home. Bama? No thanks. Oregon? Probably will choke before then. Ohio St? I would rather be assaulted in a jail cell. Missouri, Stanford, Miami? Blah, blah, and more blah.

,if it can't be us , it's better if it's the only team that beat us. Of course no one has to chant ACC ACC ACC. As I see it, only 4 teams are carrying the FB flag for the conference this year(VT, Miami, FSU and Clemson)

in a watermeleon seed spitting contest.
And as far as FSU bringing home the crystal ball meaning good things for the ACC,then I could care less what kind of success the ACC has.

Well that's your opinion... that certainly doesn't make it some prescriptive code for every other Tiger fan to follow or some litmus test to determine if we have any sense. It's just your opinion and my opinion is that you probably have too high of an opinion of your own opinion.
I hope FSU runs the tables. There are teams in the ACC I would pull for and others I would not. So what...
Why people get so worked up about which teams other than Clemson we should hate or pull for doesn't make much sense to me, but oh well, according the the op I don't have any anyway.

Agreed, there are a lot of reasons to pull for FSU. If they win MNC it helps our rating. It will help at TV contract time. It will helps ours and conference rating next year and it will help shut up the SEC folks about how superior they are to other conferences.

I will never, however, shout ACC, ACC when they do. And I'll be rooting for those classless FSU fans after the game Saturday night to have four flat tires on their way to the next game. Talk about terrible winners, these guys would make Coot scum look like Mr. Rogers.

I rooted for Clemson in all of their games leading up to ours and will root for Clemson in all their remaining games. CFB fans cover the spectrum of human emotions. Generally, most people treat others how they feel about themselves. If those of you with bitterness and hate can put those emotions behind you, it will be easier to be positive about Clemson's future. Good luck Clemson!

People are too stubborn to see that. That said, I'm hoping that somehow FSU slips up and loses two conference games and we win out. That would be perfect. If that doesn't happen then why not want (not pull...two different things) FSU to run the table and win the MNC especially if that's our only loss. However, if they lose I won't care about it (hence the want vs pull).

FSU is clearly a much better team than our Clemson Tigers and may have the fearlessness to beat Alabama or Oregon. They played big and deserve credit.
