We don’t have to jump anyone. We’re in. Win and in. That’s what top 12 means.

I think big 12 has no one in that top 12 and will auto qualify. We aren’t in right now. Still just beat the dirt peckers to insure they don’t get in.

Arizona State is currently projected as seed 12 with Clemson first team out. Clemson needed to be seeded 11 last night to be in a better position to make the tournament and control it’s own destiny.

Being ranked 11 wouldn’t do it, either. That would bump us ahead of BSU, but they’d still get the autobid.

Yup. We have to pass a non conference champion.

Jed,
I think you may be simplifying there a bit. The big 12 conference champion gets in even though they are not in the top 12. Someone from the group of five gets in even if they are not in the top 12 - if Boise state loses on Friday, that would be the case. So top 12 by itself won't get it.

Should jump Indiana. Only concern is Texas A&M winning and taking an auto spot for being in SEC Championship because ya know just means more and all that Jazz.....
Realistically though beating a top 15 team should give us enough to move over Indiana or hope they penalize SMU for losing in the ACC championship

Why would a 2 loss team jump a 1 loss team? Somebody above us has to lose and Indiana is a possibility.

Wake up. There are 3 loss teams ahead of 2 loss teams, and 2 loss teams ahead of 1 loss teams. The record is not the only factor.

Tennessee, Texas, Miami and Notre Dame all have to go on the road this week with possible playoff spots on the line. I’m hoping that just one will mess up. But that doesn’t matter if we don’t take care of business

I agree on all but Texas. We do not want TAMU to have a chance to steal a spot***

I don't see us jumping Indiana. They aren't going to kill Cinderella

Cinderella has to lose to Purdue or somehow make it to Big 10 champ game and get blown out.
Our best hope is still Syracuse beating Miami and we end up in Champ game. Or perhaps Vandy beating Tennessee.
