Jim Phillips - I know he didn't graduate.........

from a 4-year college so don't say it. But he's one person that I think an exception should definitely be made for. He was truly the Voice of the Tigers for 25 years or so. Never missed doing any Clemson sport that was on the radio unless he couldn't be in two places at one time.
We won't have/see another VOTT like he was ever again I don't think. And he was a good person and ambassador for Clemson University.

I second that , for all the reasons you've listed . He was the voice of Tiger football for 3 decades . That's quite enough in my view .

In the same boat is long time trainer Herman McGee. He literally spent his life at Clemson and personally mentored 1000s of Clemson Men. I dare say no one in Clemson's history has meant as much over that many years as Herman. If there was ever an exception to the rule it should be Herman.

CJ Spiller...

It's beyond time for him to go into the ROH - is that "special player" and a good person that the ROH is meant for.

Need to nominate Spiller for Clemson Hall of Fame first. Is just becoming eligible.
Bob Bradley Brian Dawkins
Are William and Michael Perry grads?
Jim Phillips certainly deserves it. Maybe name the press box The Bradley-Phillips Memorial Stadium Pressbox.
To me these are the most worthy from Football that may be eligible.

Yeah! Put Jim's on the press box rather than the actual ROH. Then everybody's happy.

They were supposed to do this for the radio booth
May 2, 2019, 2:28 PM

in 2014, never completed. Had a day to honor him and everything but the facade of the radio booth was never completed.
The press box is already named for Bob Bradley, and rightfully so. He's also a member of the ROH, rightfully so. Bourret should follow him there

We're gonna need a bigger ring ... pretty soon I think.

In all seriousness, the size of the lettering for the current Ring of Honor names is unsustainable for new members if we keep up our current pace.

It's only gonna make it even tougher to decide.........

who goes in. In the past, it was easier to see who "special exceptional" players were because we didn't have consistently high talent. But now, that's going to be harder unless they start admitting a lot of players. And I don't know that that's going to happen.
Sure, guy's like DW and CJS are obvious to most people. But then there are a lot of players who will get arguments for or against.

I want to thank you all in advance for submitting my name. My contributions to CU are just too numerous to name, and then I'm too humble to do so. Please ignore this humility and focus on my accomplishments. Again, thank you.
