I have them through out my house. They may not be AS bright as the regular bulb, but they are cheaper/last longer. Just sayin.

I am glad that they are promoting this idea. I am also proud to see the recycling bins and green recycle bags being handed out during the games on Saturdays. Good Job Clemson!

Government workers, on average, are paid less than what they would be able to command on the open market. Some of that discrepancy is made up for in the form of job security and better benefits, although both those are in jeopardy due to recent state and local government cutbacks.
Most government workers in SC don't have tenure. It might be close, but I'm pretty sure that even most professors at Clemson are non-tenured.
Also, the implication that government workers don't work is insulting. I'm not a government worker myself, but some of my family members are and I know how hard they have worked over the years.
