From 1991-2010 how many 10 win seasons did we have? 0...zero...nada. So quit complaining about this season, this could still be one of the best seasons we've had in a long time. We aren't Alabama, we're Clemson...so be realistic and grateful for the past few years.

Alabama does have a lot more successful history than we do, better facilities, and the best line talent in the country. So it is hard to be Alabama at this point. It will take years of success to be compared to Alabama as an entire program. They kind of have a handicap on a lot of teams. I think everyone in Tigernation wants our team to be an Alabama.

Alabama, but the truth is, we are not. 10 wins is a good season for us. Would I like to us get to elite level? Of course. But right now, and historically, we aren't.

We are on an elite level, but we are not historically elite. It is more of a program issue sometimes than a team issue.

There's a cultural difference too. Bama is a disciplined, focused machine. Credit their coaching for keeping so many young minds on track year after year.

Nick Saban is one of the best managers in CFB today. He is the Steve Jobs of football. If Jobs demands that you work 100 hrs a week you work 100 hrs a week. Kind of the same thing for Saban... Those type of men are really rare. But I do think Dabo could build that. You can tell all of our players listen to him.

I think the NFL proves it happens to even elite teams. In CFB it is hard to tell if a team is elite after that kind of beating.

I love the trend of our football program with everything except our expected annual chicken killing. I know they have been a better program lately than the in the past but at least Tommy never lost two in a row much less 4. For most of us in our everyday luch with coot fans this is the final test, "Did you beat the chickens?" You know this and I do as well; win the ACC and loose to the coots is unacceptable.
