Can we get a real kicker?? One that a top tier (at least recent past) program should have? How in the world did we get to the point of the Swinney boys sitting around in their underwear one night and say - “Hey Dad - we got an idea. Bring Weitz in. Yea - I know daddy, he wasn’t good enough before to kick other than just a few mop up PAT’s, and yea - I know daddy he quit when he saw Gunn coming because he wasn’t good enough to beat him out, and yea - I know daddy he hasn’t kicked in a year - but do it daddy. Bring him in to kick in the biggest game of the season!” And, WE DID IT! How does a program of our caliber get to this point?

The idea is still there for a great movie that ends up having us win the natty on a last second FG to win the game. Of course he missed one before the winning one which makes it even better. It could be better than Rudy. Dabo and Clemson could get the movie rights to it and it would be enough to pay our way out of the ACC.

Cinderella? Really?? You’re ok when Tigers win win win and beat the brakes off of some teams. Was it Cinderella then? Now, when the ACC has improved as people were saying “ it’s needed to help Clemson” , fans want to throw the staff under the bus. Several teams have gotten better, legally, whether we approve of transfer portal or not. They’ll figure things out.
