I am now longer able to TD posts or comments.
I can still TU but if I click TD the page refreshes like it did before but nothing changes.
What gives? Anyone else have a similar problem?

Also you need to get on the Judge Keller and Clemson Mountaineer plan with the mods. They never dropped below 85%.

Sometimes people say things that deserve a TD.
I was able to TD people until recently so the change has happened in the last few weeks.

but no, it did not give the post a TD.
If you feel people sometimes deserve a TD, that's fine. I believe it's a good yes[TU]/no[TD] system and don't feel a poster that uses a TD needs to explain it, but many here loose their minds if someone TDs a post without an explanation.
In my time here I've intentionally TD'd two users. franc1968®, but only to check Crump®'s maffs and Crump hisself, because, well, Crump. There's a reason his brother, Tony, hit Crump with a 2x4.

I can see the argument both ways, but if you think of TU/TD as a light form of moderation, it makes sense for people that are more invested in the site to do that.
We do have plans to add some other 'reaction' type emojis that will be available to all, but will not affect the author's pulse.

I would like some way we can show sympathy to someone - seems odd to give a thumbs up when someone posts about the passing of a loved one, etc. But that is what I do, just want to let them know we acknowledge the loss and are in sympathy.

Just spitballin' here but perhaps a way to stop that is when you ID a serial TD'er, you write a logarythm that essentially lowers their pulse at the same rate they lower the pulse of the person they attack....call it a form of bored suicide, if you will.

It does, but it doesn’t mean everytime you disagree with something it deserves a TD. This affects peoples ratings. It should only be used for grievous offenses. This isn’t Reddit

Whenever I just gave this post a TD it worked perfectly. So, I think it may just be your software or operating system.
