Biggest reason I've been upset about last Saturday

The hype machine was in full overdrive. I normally stay pretty grounded but even 5 mins before kickoff I felt as if Clemson was gonna come out and blow the doors off LSU.
Just a major major major let down.

Rebuilt O-line with new fiery coach
NFL caliber defense
On and on and on...#### even finklebutt had us hyped up and he HATES Dabo...
Its been tough as a fan to turn the page. Probably even tougher as a player. This is one thing Dabo excels at, coaching his players to turn the page and refocus. He's one of the best.
This team has some great players and while I don't expect much at this point...my hope is that they continue to improve week after week and completely destroy the coots come end of year.

You must not have seen Cade at Tiger Walk or right before the team ran down the hill. He looked terrified.

Not really. That game in '13 was over at halftime. The Tigers were within 13 yards of tying it up in the final minute on Saturday night

I think because of how completely unprepared the team looked and the abysmal play calling.

Cade reminds me alot of Tajh Boyd. Seems when extreme pressure is applied on him he gets happy feet and panics. Had the tying td right in front of him and got skittish and took off

Rjc, it was hard to ignore. We seemingly made all the right moves during off-season. What really grinds me is the Gideon situation and comment from Dabo on it.
Same with Alexander. Like Dabo said, no snaps because he's 3rd on the depth chart. I have a gut feeling that he'd be better than kobe. I have no facts, but why get a 5* transfer just to keep him off the field. Who knows, maybe he would have busted, but maybe he makes a game winning pic 6... there's a history of the best player not always playing... think mafah instead of Shipley. 🤷

For the 1st time in several years I got excited by all the great
news, and how we were ranked too low etc. etc. I will NEVER
again listen to Dabo's preseason pitch, nor read anything about
what is or isn't going to be.

the team had over a month to prepare, the game was on a Saturday night at prime time in front of a nationally televised audience, against a big time opponent at home with a sold out stadium, and the team just didn't show-up especially offensively.
