Agreed. Hope Dabo goes to the WR core and says “Make him wish he was still suspended.” This crap irritates me as a fan of college football in general because I think your suspension should depend on what was done, not on the significance of the game. Now, he may have had a minor team violation that shouldn’t need three games, but how many coaches would suspend players before a trip to a semi final game & national championship?

Just when I was starting to like Justin Fuente he does this. Maybe it's because I don't know the ins and outs here but Dabo doesn't do it this way. He chooses an appropriate punishment and sticks to it. Dabo could care less who we are playing either.(Sammy vs. Auburn) the game is not bigger than hi principles. (4 players out for UGA and Alabama)

He's served 2 games for whatever the transgression was . I'm not sure he wouldn't have come nack this week if they were playing Vanderbilt .

Yeah man, I agree, play them at full strength. My comments were more geared towards Dabo's way of doing things. If a guy is suspended two games, he's suspended two games. The lone exception I can think of is Sammy but Sammy knew up front what the conditions were. Like I said I don't know the ins and outs here and maybe my first statement was unnecessary. Maybe Justin had something similar set up with this guy. I do know this, it doesn't matter to Dabo how big the game is if he's going to make a guy sit he will make a guy sit.

I don't care about the threat of the guy being reinstated. I care about the lack of character of their coach to let the guy off his punishment just because of the opponent. That looks like the secheat's lack of standards.

Read the post title. It was lifted, not suspension completed. Maybe the post got it wrong, but if not it's a mistake by Fuente. Remember Spurrier and Garcia. Need to keep the standard.

I agree. My initial reaction is that this was another Spurrier/Garcia type of situation which is typical in CFB. But like I said I don't know the whole story here so my reaction may be wrong. Either way, Dabo does things the right way and I'm proud of that. We could be playing Alabama for the national championship and he will keep his guys suspended even if they are great players who could be the difference in winning or losing. I know this because he's done this. Dabo certainly sets a standard that more coaches should follow.

But he was left on the team roster. Nobody knows really what the transgression really was. The kid served two games. But it's hard to say whether it was lenient, harsh, or just plain fair.
There was a lot of talk all along though that the suspension was always set to be two games, but was called indefinite just in case AA didn't meet up his end of the bargain as far as behavior went. Fuente tends to play these kinds of things VERY close to the vest.
