And coming on to a Clemson message board to exclusively talk trash about the Clemson basketball team. Odd behavior

Terriers are simply annoying little dogs that nip at your ankles. Just kick them to the curb and move on.

I am a Wofford Fan. Have friends that work there. The Basketball facilities are more impressive than Littlejohn. Inside and the outside. Win had a great run in football under Mike Ayer’s and basketball under Mike Young. He lead Wofford to the NCAA several times before leaving to run VT’s program. In the 90’s the Head Baseball coach never had a losing season during his entire career coaching HS and at Wofford. Approximately 25 years.
You see at Wofford it’s not all about the winning even though Wofford fans did enjoy those successful times. But the are truly a family who focuses on Education, and they do not fire coaches on a whim.
I admire Woffords accomplishments, such a small school that is dedication, commitment Ted, and is a staff with character and integrity.
They went from being the whipping dog for ever school on their schedule as NAIA school to moving up to a higher level division in The NCAA building a winning program while moving to a more competitive level and joining the SoCon. Wofford has won SoCon titles in Football and men’s basketball. It’s possible they may have won titles in other sports as well.
That’s more than Can be said for the coots !!! Who has lost to Wofford and Furman and The Citadel.
Go Terriers !

I attended the Conference Carolinas tournament at Wofford/Jerry Richardson arena last weekend, it is a very nice facility, probably seats 3,000 or less - lots of wasted space, mausoleum vibe and has the parking of a small high school, which is a pretty apt comparison.

My dad graduated from Wofford but you would never know it. Was a HUGE Clemson fan and any money he donated went to Clemson. When I was growing up we went to all Clemson home football games and many of the away games and bowl games. Also went to some home basketball games but football has and always will be my favorite sport. He was just a Clemson man through and through. My mom always said he should have went to Clemson but ended up where his friends were.

I grew up a die hard Clemson fan but being from Greenville always pulled for Furman to do well when they were not playing us.
Have always heard good things about Wofford. My dad lives in Boiling Springs but when I am down that way never think to ride and check them out. Been many years since I have seen Wofford.

You lost me at "Imagine being a Wofford fan."
I'd always heard they were a good school so we toured when my daughter was looking at backup schools. The campus is beautiful, great facilities, obviously lots of money there. Our tour guide told us how she was taking a class where they learned to plan parties, orientation is a apparently a credited course and she didn't know what foreign languages they offered. When we passed the gym the tour guide gave me a blank stare when I commented on their successful basketball program.
We realized they didn't offer my daughter's major, and the admissions counselor suggested she could major in psychology the first three years and then transfer to Converse for two more.
There were a couple of other schools where I was more impressed after the tour than I had anticipated. That was not the case with Wofford.
