I want to win the ACC tournament as would everyone here. And I believe Knaak being saved for NC state or even later perhaps the weekend. That gives Clemson the best opportunity to win the ACC championship. However I don’t think losing game one pushes Clemson out of hosting a regional. There not going to send a 41 win team to a regional as a 2 seed. It might drop them to 16 last team hosting. But I believe Clemson hosting a regional regardless of what game 1 brings.

It could depending on what teams just behind us do. A loss would make our RPI more comparable to teams who are on the bubble to host. Hopefully it doesn’t come down to how we’ve played late in the season, which is does sometimes when trying to figure out the last couple of host…

But we are for sure a host even with a loss. 41 wins and a tough schedule.

I also think Bakich will save Knaak for game 2. I expect Bell to start game 1. If we win game 1, I think we will be assured of hosting a regional. We probably will, even if we lose, but I will feel more secure if we get that first win. I think if we can make it to the finals, we may be in the top 8, but I think we will have to have at least 2 wins to get into the top 8.

Don’t save arms go after it game one bc you aren’t guaranteed tomorrow. Gotta take it by each day. Many teams get hurt saving or trying to save guys. Vt or Stanford will give it their all to play spoiler and make a run to try and get in. We are hosting I think and what I’ve read with a loss. But could change by weekend. You win at least one then you are a lot more at ease.
