Dabo's teams, including last year, get

Better and better 90-95% of the time as the year goes on. Add to this DJ's intense criticism last year, the questioning of Dabo, his coaches, and the direction of the program, and the tragic death of Bresse's sister that has bonded and impacted this team emotionally and I think there is a formula for this team to improve significantly starting this week and next. Lots of work to get better but buckle up and prepare to accelerate as we hit the meat of the schedule. This team has pride and I do not think they will disappoint these next 2 weeks and beyond. CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS SATURDAY! Go Tigers!!!

If we get our defensive backs off the injury list, we can beat Wake but we have to play better than we have up to now. As far as NC State, not sure about that game because that on crazy place to play.

More worried about Sam Hartman carving up our DBS and stopping him on his runs. Nancy St am not worried about. We owe them and that mouth running they have done will be plenty of fire and motivation for a home game.

I agree. And there is no doubt in my mind that our Tigers are doing their best. Their best in October will be better than their best today. Even the last two Clemson championship teams had their flaws. This team doesn't have to be perfect. I just hope that they can get to a point down the road where they are good enough to get a shot at competing for another title.

I believe you're right about those factors and others especially Dabo's teams have typically started off slow and built momentum steadily through the season.
Hopefully, it gets us back to championship football.

It seems as though we hear the same chatter every year

we can't do this or that. Last year offensively, it was certainly true, yet they found a way to grind out games and still win. Dabo said all off season that would be good for them. There is something to be said for knowing how to win.
I think we play very well this Saturday. Then State we'll see a team on fire for what could be a top 10 matchup. This offense has not been perfect but it is light years beyond where we were after game 3 last year, that Tech debacle. The defense will begin to dominate this Saturday as the rotations will be slimmed down and the wounded will be back.

Anyone who entertains the thought that this team will not improve

is being willfully ignorant. Dabo’s teams have a long proven track record of improving as the season progresses. It would take a lot of things beyond the coaches’ control for this year to be an exception.

something positive about criticism! Does this mean all the preachers against it will stop?
