received any money from someone to go to Duke. I don’t have any reason to think he did, other than all of the news lately about the corruption in college basket. I just find it odd that everyone close to his situation was sure he was coming to Clemson - as late as that Saturday afternoon a few hours before he announced.

I realize that he probably chose Duke because Duke is an outstanding program with an excellent coach, and nothing illegal or inappropriate occurred. But it is definitely something to consider.

NCAA enforcement clearly views the "deserving haves" differently that the "other programs" though

If Lion Zion is truly a 1 and done I will be disappointed that he will not
play at Clemson. We played Puke here this year and play them away next year.
I wanted him to get the full Puke player experience of LJC.

He was questioned after the first wave of allegations for possibly receiving money for a future commitment to Kansas. They haven't found anything to implicate him or his parents with any wrongdoing.
