Antonio Williams kicked out of Gamecock facility

Clemson WR Antonio Williams (not sure if he's started summer school yet) was at South Carolina earlier today to watch Dutch Fork in a 7on7 tourney. I later saw his dad tweet that Antonio was escorted out so I decided to do some digging. I reached out to some DF folks and was told that it was Shane Beamer himself who approached Williams, mentioned that Williams had no class, and told him to leave. I can't corroborate it or confirm it, but two different people tell me that was what happened.
I know that South Carolina recruited him hard, and I know that they felt like they would land him before he decided (late) to come to Clemson.
Now, if it was a Gamecock practice, of course, he isn't allowed. But a high school tourney and he's just there to watch? If true that is some kind of salty to do that.

Unlike my take on the hide-and-seek game, this incident - if verified that Beamer was involved in any way in removing Williams from the facility - it shows that Beamer is a best an immature guy who needs to learn how to act with some dignity and consideration for others. At worst it shows that he has lot's of class, all of it low.

He left Slurrier's staff to go back to VT & be on Dad's staff,to take over when Frank retired. They didn't want him, they didn't even give him a WAIT call when he was interviewing at Jr. If the D1 school that knows the most about ,don't want you, that's a red flag.

it’s pretty obviously fake news that Shane Beamer unprovoked just walked up and started insulting him and kicked him out. Shane is the coach of the enemy, but he’s a pretty classy guy, and unless you have some hard evidence to back this up, it’s pretty clearly a lie.
But, posts like this are what happens when you let a fan be the journalist on the site.

...rarely weighs-in on internet rumors. The story was repeated by two folks to David, so there is certainly some truth to it. As always, I'm sure there's more to it.
Btw, I would certainly expect and demand that our lead writer would be a huge CU "fan" to write for this fan driven site. However, I have found him to be extremely objective and tells it like it is in his reporting over the years.

David reported the facts of where Antonio was, the content of his father’s tweet, and obtained two accounts from first hand witnesses. He then called out elements that haven’t been fullly coo-berated.
Where’s the journalistic issue?

I’m as much of a Tiger homer as you’ll find, but agree that there is probably another side to this story.
With the transfer portal always leaving the door cracked for guys who chose to go elsewhere, I’m surprised any coach would burn a bridge with a player/parents these days.
That said, I’m also a parent and would definitely want to get the coach’s story, before sticking up for my kid (especially publically).

It would be especially surprising given that treating Williams like that isn't likely to endear him to the Dutch Fork coaches and that's not really a relationship you want to lose in this state.

"Williams was kicked out of the facility, according to his stepfather, former Dutch Fork and Ole Miss basketball star Murphy Holloway.
Holloway wrote on Twitter in response to a tweet from Lou Bezjak of The State regarding the 7-on-7 event, “They kicked my son out of the facility today when he was watching DF play. It’s all love tho”.
