Unfortunate but you could see it coming since he couldn't hold onto the football..

i always thought his frame was just too little

those arms can only hold onto that ball so tight. Whenever a ton of force hits him that ball is always gonna squirt out because he just not strong enough to hold onto it. Unless he's gonna run with two hands on the ball at all times. He doesn't really float it out there or run flippantly with the ball he's just a small framed guy and when 240 lb linebacker hits him at full speed then physics just takes over.

This but Ray-Ray couldn't hang on to the ball at Clemson either . He's a good player but if he can't hold on to the ball his days are done in the NFL .

What are you implying, @76er?
Oct 16, 2019, 1:15 PM

Not claiming I'm the strongest person or a bad ###, but I am much stronger than the average American male. I was skinny as a youth, and when I see people from my youth that haven't seen me in years they are surprised by how much muscle I have added over the years. So highly unlikely you could do anything to me if challenged me. Most likely I would just shove you to the ground and tell you take your loss like a man without even punching you.

Not surprising. I was honestly shocked that he was drafted

and made a team.
He is obviously a great athlete, but in college I never felt that he was consistent. He had a lot of drops in the passing game and on special teams. Hopefully he will improve his skills and get an opportunity with another team.

I think he would be a perfect CFL player. Wonder if anyone has his rights.

I liked him, but the memories I have of him are:
1) dropping the ball right before the end zone 2) tipping a ball that was thrown right into his hands so Louisville could intercept.
I can't remember anything else he did.

When He Was At Clemson, I Always Screamed...

Catch The Ball Ray Ray!!! It was always a circus when he went back to catch a punt. I never understood why he was back there. I guess coaching staff just wanted to inject some excitement into the game.

As a Panthers fan, I couldn't believe it when I saw we signed him. I thought I was done having to sweat every punt return. Just proves that the vast majority of NFL scouting departments don't know as much about individual players as fans of those players' college teams.
