I wonder why one of these statements caused so many more people to get offended than the other 2?
1. Donald Trump said he was gonna build the wall. You better build it in one day because if you leave that material out there over night..... then proceeds to look around as if the imaginary materials were stolen.
2. "There’s a lot going on. I don’t know if you know this but there’s literally a floating island of garbage in the middle of the ocean right now. I think it’s called Puerto Rico." This was said during a political rally.
3. "The only garbage that i see floating around are his supporters" when talking about a presidential candidates supporters

But if you're a person who has laughed at, cheered, repeated, made excuses for, defended, or stayed silent all those times Trump spouted hate, vitriol, and names at other people, you have absolutely no room to whine about #3. Kindly sit down; you're only mad now that it happened to you. You should have said something back when Trump acted like a complete #######.

There is a little difference between 2 and 3. The idiot who spouted #2 was calling garbage garbage. The idiot who spouted #3 was calling American voters garbage. Oh ,and one was a stupid comedian and the other is the American president, the great unifier.

And for that, I actually give the comedian a pass (it was a dumb joke but he was just there to tell jokes) over Biden. I don't like Biden's statement and I think it is stupidly divisive.
But again--only those who stood up against Trump's hate and vitriol, or those who didn't engage in their own, have room to complain. If you aren't one of those, suck it up, buttercup.

I’m voting for Trump because he’s the best choice by far. But I actually have said many times I wish he could shut his mouth. I wish Kamala could do the same with the Hitler nonsense. Just tell me what you want to do and let me decide. Sure wish it could be that way.

#3 is by the outgoing President and is clearly bad as has been acknowledged with an attempted cleanup effort of saying he was calling the comedian garbage.
Trump and company still has not apologized for #2 and have leaned into it more. But it doesn't even matter, listen to any speech by Trump where he says equally defaming things about American citizens or that he sees an "enemy within" from his political opponents that he'll use the military against and it's clear one side is much more dangerous and intentional with their rhetoric.

I thought it was a jab at the administration for not helping enough with the debris from hurricane Fiona. I’m sure that added to an ongoing problem.
