Possible? I guess. Very slim though. If Joe Girard didn't have a problem getting his shot off and if Chase Hunter was consistent busting 3's, we could. That's not reality. Looking forward to watching this squad though. I think those blown 1 game losses have prepared the team. The team seems to be getting better.

Yeah the turnover situation is the main deal moving forward. That can be controlled. The other two things I named might not be realistic to solve.

A little ambitious there but simply getting in the NCAAT gives everyone a shot at least. Thrilled we will have that opportunity this year as it's looking.

Softball hasn't proven they can hit elite pitching. Three years in a row an elite pitcher has shut us down and sent us home from the tourney. Last year was a good step forward playing Oklahoma to the wire, but at some point you have to take the next step and deliver in big moments.
Baseball has the storied history, but has never been able to take that next step either. Twice in my lifetime we were one game away from the CWS finals and failed both times. I'm hoping we can get there with coach bakich though!

Yes.
NCAA tournament history says otherwise though. Strange but true: teams from schools with program tournament success do a “cream rises” number on the final four … and relegate newcomers to second best.
Final Four is reasonable. All the way is unreasonable … but they ARE capable.
