I've always suspected that vampires run the blood banks. It's literally the perfect plan for them. They get all the blood and don't have to deal with law enforcement or creating more vampire competition for themselves.

In all actuallity though, if you are in the area and can donate we would absolutely love it. I am apart of the Coed Service Fraternity Alpha Phi Omega at Clemson that puts on this event alongside TBC and ARC. You can find me throughout the week at various locations, almost every hour trying to recruit donors. There's a trophy presented at halftime which we are super hopeful we can bring home for the fifth year in a row and beat them both on the field and off in the Blood Bowl. Is there still a Big Blood Bowl Trophy to the winner?

I was the Clemson Chair of the Blood Drive effort for 2 years in 1995 and 1996. We won both years and I can remember being down in Columbia when we won and passing the Trophy around with all the players after the game.

Yes sir, there is still the big trophy that goes to the winners each year. Presented at half time of the game still. I will grab a picture of it when I am on campus later and send in here. Out of complete curiosity are you a brother of Alpha Phi Omega or did another organization used to run it back in the day? Completely unsure myself but would love to know any history you can provide

Class of 97' Was an incredible experience interfacing with all the student groups on campus. My ole friend that owned TTT's back then even donated a Mixer for the Fraternity and Sorority with the highest % of participation in donating. I still remember being the last one to donate (it was tradition) and about passing out when I tried to stand up because I was so exhausted and literally drained. Was active in Blue Key and also was Student Body Treasurer with President Swann. Wouldn't trade that time in my life for anything. I would be happy to fill in with any history I can provide.
