When JL took over Clemson program there were legitimately 20 programs that could make the final 8 in Omaha year in year out. As more programs have spent money on baseball, and facilities coaching deficiencies have shown there ugly head. JL may be HOF coach but only because of situation not because he has been a great one. Just my opinion and have been following the program since the late Wilhelm days.

Listening to part of the game today,the announcers said the Tigers seemed listless.
They appeared to have no spark,no energy.
Pitching,hitting,and fielding is one thing,but lethargic play is a different matter all together.

Used to be Clemson baseball was a much-needed relief and source of joy after sitting through another Shyatt-era basketball team. In the last couple of seasons the baseball team has done just enough to work their way into the playoffs, only to get knocked out early. This team may not make the playoffs.
