so the AD will be afraid of firing him.
Any new Coach coming in will not be excited about having to recruit a whole new team. Yes, there will be opportunity there to play for new guys coming in, but opportunity doesn't equal reality. And if the reality ends up being that good transfers can't be enticed to come in after Brownell has run off decent backups/starters-to-be, then Clemson is going to take a big step back just because Brad pitched his little whiny fit on the roster.
F*ck Brad - he isn't really an upstanding guy. His repeated calling out of KJ McDaniels proves that. Brad's BS coaching deprived KJ and Donte Grantham of opportunity, but Brad's still making it all about him. F*ck Brad.

Oh, that was supposed to be funny?
Kewl post.
Also, you calling be a "brownell bro" is just another example of you being dramatic. I would have been fine with firing brownell after this season.
If you don't hate brownell and trash his team every chance you get, you are a brownell bro! Another dramatic take!

You would be fine with it but defend him relentlessly? Pick a lane.

It's one extreme or the other for you. You either hate brownell and want fired immediately, or you have to love brownell? That's not how life works. Maybe for crazies like you.
I defend him from the extreme haters that blame him for every negative aspect of our program, and also give him no credit for every positive aspect of our program.
I think he is a great guy. He runs a clean program. He develops his players well, and they seem to really like him. He is also a good coach. We have been a very competitive team over the last 6 years. 4 out of the last 6 years we have either been a tourney team, or a bubble team. We all wish for better. I want to go to the tournament more for sure. I understand that brownell is on the hot seat. I also realize that this past recruiting class was his best class. His best ever recruit will be a senior and hopefully fully healthy for the first time. Our starting lineup (as it stands) looks nice next year. We need to build some depth from the portal.

He develops players?

C'mon man. He doesn't develop ###. He recruits mediocrity and achieves mediocrity
If we were talking about some new to the job or just a few years in, ok. We are 13 years in with him. There is no improving or getting g better. He is what he is, a mediocre coach.
It's crystal clear, if Clemson is to do better in men's basketball, they need a new coach, period.

Being real, Hunter, Hall, Schieffelin, Wiggins, Godfrey. Maybe some transfer comes in and outplays some of our guys.
PJ will be back. He’s not full potential yet. It’s good for him to experience the Draft Preparation though.

take over at the point, Hall at the 5 spot and Shiff, Godfrey and Wiggins splitting up the forward minutes. If Middlebrooks is leaving, we really need a solid backup for Hall!

Maybe only 1 (PJ) on a good D1 program. Right now Hemmenway, Dillon, Beadle and Wiggins are not starting on a good D1 team. Chase might start of he could shoot just a little better consistently. Who else would start on a D1 team? Oh wait, that's almost our whole team. I guess we have to wait for CBB to find his Portal Diamonds.
Man, i hate the state of our bball program. I hate that we have to wait 1 more year of boring bball and once again taking half a season to remember who the players are because they come and go every year.

You clearly hate the, as you guys termed them, “Brownell Bros”; but you’re turning into the same unhinged type of person just on the other side of the argument. How long has it been since you posted something on this forum that wasn’t about your contempt for Brownell or Neff, and how long is it gonna be til you post about something other than your contempt for Brownell and Neff? Go back and look at your post history; I think you’ve made your point.

if i were to guess what the best 5 would be? Hunter, Hall, Schief, Wiggins (let's call him a 'stretch 2), Godfrey
