Yep. Young gimmicky jokey coach. He’ll get chewed up and spit out by his players. The nice guy act will not work with thugs. One reason I think spurrier had so much success their. He wasn’t your friend. He wasn’t particularly nice.

have to make corny digs at Clemson no matter what the sport. Its so forced and cliche with all of them except Spurrier which was expected bc he's always done that to rival teams.
Its like the PR people over there are constantly telling their new hires that 'in order to be endearing to the #### community, you have to show them your irrational disdain for Clemson.' Even though its basically patronizing those in-breds. Muschamp did it and it was cringeworthy and now this dude. I remember the basketball coaches have all done it as well. Never heard TAnner get into it as much, he was busy i guess.
Our coaches have always been fairly complimentary with the gamecocks. Dabo was fine until he was provoked to respond by Spurriers' "we ain't clemson" comment. But before that he was complimentary. I've heard Tommy make some tongue in cheek comments a couple times but after some years of being here and living it. Don't remember Danny doing too much talking about Carolina.
It just comes across as fake. Until you get some skin in the game. And this fake 'we hate clemson' schtick by this guy is just hacky. Give it some time Beamer..you'll eventually get where you hate us for real.
