Freeman, or did he somehow see the cupboard was going to be relatively bare for Notre Dame this year? He ain't enjoying trememdous Tier One initial success at LSWHO either, but it beats what is happening in South Bend.

Not many Clemson fans like Brian Kelly, but he was 118-35 at Grand Valley State, 19-16 at Central Michigan, 35-6 at Cincinnati and 92-45 at Notre Dame. He is currently at 5-2 at LSU. On the other hand Marcus Freeman has lots of fans.

he went..his issue at dame was not being able to get speed and in the playoffs getting exposed..he wont have that problem at lsu

This isn’t even a discussion until Freeman makes a playoff appearance or two.

I do think Kelly looked at his roster, and also saw the opportunity to go to a program like LSU, and made a calculated move.
