By Deshaun Watson as I am? Blows my mind what has happened to him. IF, and that’s a big if, he plays again, I don’t see him being a starter.

He’s done. Made his money and now he needs to work on getting his life together. Waste of talent for sure.

one of the top QBs in the NFL now (like he was with Houston before he got into the massage therapist mess). Definitely a major waste of talent.

He was in a great position to become a Super star in football and help keep the Clemson name in the headlines. Unfortunately he had other interest more important to him than fame, wealth and character. Unless he shows a complete turnaround he will not get my support. We’re are Clemson . We are better than that!

Watson one day will realize as years pass, he wish he would’ve done things differently. Maybe it will turn out great like it did for Mike Vick. He’s turned out to be a great role model in young communities today. Congrats on his HOF entry!

the Jaguars can't get an offensive line that can actually protect Trevor.

Instead of ETN they should have gone with an OL. That was such a wasted pick considering what they needed.

I am not perplexed. He sat out, was injured, and he just didn't get it all back. Now he is injured again. It's pretty straightforward. His team in Cleveland supposedly didn't like him either, which doesn't help.

Maybe. The truth is the average career length for an NFL starting QB is 4.4 years. So aside from the legal troubles Watson has pretty much played himself out as being the man. I think the best thing he could do to regain his career is to purposely sign on as a back up in a struggling program like Jax or the Jets, sit there and recover and perhaps see a resurgence in his career when he comes in and saves the day.
Look at what Michael Vick did. He got comfortable being a back up, got out, totally rehabbed himself from his legal woes and is now a head coach. I never thought I would see that happen for him.
