I'm worried about that guy..... The fact he only sat out one play is almost as bad as what happened to Tua with the Dolphins.
Nobody was home when he stood up. They only had one other RB left to play after him which is why it was overlooked, which is so wrong on so many levels.
Someone needs to lose their job over that call to send him back out.

Were you equally as disgusted when both Mike Williams and Deshaun Watson went back in to the second championship game against Alabama?? Just stop it. Neither one of those kids should’ve gone back in to those games. Same with Trevor Lawrence against Ohio State. College football does need to look at their concussion protocol but the moral outrage over Mario Anderson while overlooking what our own coaches and trainers did is so lame and so hypocritical, it’s the behavior I’d expect from a coots fan!!! Just stop

I agree. Shane's post game comment about Mario Anderson's "injury" was that he was "shaken-up" but ready to go back in. I presume he will eventually see a replay. Then he needs to apologize to Mario, and reprimand or fire someone.

They didn’t even do a concussion test on him because they knew if they did he was done. Let him go right back in saying he was “startled”. NCAA seriously needs to take a look at it, because he was showing clear cut signs of a concussion.

is a sideline mental status assessment is supposed to be conducted. The test includes things like eye opening, motor, and verbal responses that can be administered to athletes on the field to objectively measure their level of consciousness. The test also contains questions designed to assess athletes' orientation, immediate memory, concentration, and delayed memory as well as an exertion test and brief neurological evaluation. The test generally takes about 5 minutes to administer, so it is unlikely UofSC conducted any type of concussion test considering that Andersson was back on the field just two plays later.

Don’t know why I remember this but the Anderson concussion situation reminds me of what happened w/ G Timothy in a game in 2013. Maybe because I always confused his first and last names, him having a last name for a first. Also cannot remember the game but he was addled on one play in an important series and on the next two plays (at right tackle) just staggered around while the DE blew past him to make plays. He was pulled out and subjected one of Dabo’s classic sideline rants. Later came out that he was in concussion protocol. He left football that year and didn’t return for his senior year supposedly for a knee injury but never really played much alter that. Always felt bad for him because of the dressing down he took undeservedly on national TV.

Yes, he was given an extensive 18 second examination by some random fan and cleared to return. They got no response when they asked "Is there a Doctor in the house?"

Anderson couldn’t have been knocked out, or up, or silly or anything else. After all, it wasn’t SEC play- therefore it just means less.
