Turns out, the ancient and mysterious ritual of waiting exactly 24 hours to send a follow-up email is indeed the correct offering to the interview gods. Who knew? My carefully timed message has summoned a new level in this job-hunting quest: the 4th and final interview. It's scheduled for the week before Christmas, just in time to distract me from my annual panic-shopping spree.

Honestly, I’m just glad I’m not unemployed during this process. Otherwise, I’d be calculating how many ramen packets it takes to fuel a human through a month. Instead, I’m juggling job interviews while still having the luxury of occasionally eating food that doesn’t come in a cup. Life's small blessings.

was this company had a trade show then July 4th vacations the week after. I had to remain calm during that time, reminding myself that the decision makers were out of office.

Sounds like you may end up with a dead week or two as well.
