Yup, I was thinking yesterday that Street would be justified in being pretty ticked off in how he was made a scape goat for bigger issues with our offense.

I will always give Street a lot of credit for the way he managed that situation. He did not deserve the way he was summarily dismissed but he showed a lot of character in the way he chose to handle it.

Thing of it is, the fan base by and large wanted Streeter gone. Dabo did that. The fan base by and large was thrilled with the Garrett Riley hire. Dabo did that. The fan base wanted Austin gone last year. Dabo did that. The fan base was thrilled with the Matt Luke hire. Dabo did that. It’s not like the head coach isn’t trying.

This is true Dabo is trying, it’s hard to get the right people in place. Hindsight is always 20/20 but maybe Streeter deserved a second season not sure. The Tennnessee game was a friggin disaster and he ran Cade to death, however hard to argue that the offense didn’t look more explosive and creative that night than it does now.
