yes I saw this yesterday. We don't need him this season but I wonder about next year with all the DE's we will be losing. Not sure if he is willing to take a redshirt this season to prove himself for next season

When high 4 star, and 5 star players are ask to red shirt, they need to star looking at their second choice bc, that school either has to much talent at that position, or the recruit will need more development before the coaches will trust them with playing some downs during their freshman season so that the game will slow down for them when they are really needed the next season, bc red shirt recruits really don't get a lot of playing time as a red shirt Sophomore either, mostly depending on the experience talent a head of them at their position!!!

I think he got hurt and missed a few games...

so they played him sparingly later in the season in a couple of games before red shirting him.

So due to Covid rule, he has 2 years.
DE? 310 pounds sounds more like DT.

don't see him coming here unless he's willing to switch to OL & uses COVID year as well. We're set on DE for this year & clean up for that position for '23. Even if he'd make switch, based on what i saw on another site, Dabo's cooled off on finding another OL in the portal.

The reason he went to Bama is because we told him he was a DT and he wanted to play DE yet you want him as a DE after we already said no

If I remember correctly when he was a HS recruit we saw him as a DT and he wanted to be a DE and I think we also heard he wasn’t fond of Todd Bates. But I don’t know if any of that is true, I probably read it on some internet fountain of truth like tigernet.
