I try to be civil with the people on here who post in good faith (and for the most part I consider you one of them -- namely because you engage and don't just post the same bag of FJB crap thread every day), but the people who are on here just to shitpost with soundbites they heard from Tim Pool or memes they found earlier today on TikTok? Why give them the courtesy of courtesy?

Touch the Rock is a good example. His setup of the Ukraine issue wasn't to debate the topic. It was some transparent logic trap with the most sophomoric bait one could imagine. There was absolutely no effort to understand the topic or how the other side might see it so as to be prepared for a hearty discussion. It was only one step above a mural thread.

I mean. It's tiresome and not at all amusing to log in and see the same brat pack posting the same thread with only slight tweaks for the outrage dujour -- all of which are just hit and runs to bait people into responding.

You at least engage to a certain point until you get flustered, and again, it's appreciated even if you think I'm an asshat from time to time (and I am), but today when I asked who the audience guys like Kiwi and Rocky are posting for, it was a serious question. If they're just getting therapy by screaming their angst into the digital abyss, making fun of them is the only sport to be had. And pretty much the only way they engage.

If they posted like they actually respect dialogue, guys like me, flow, cata, etc. would be more likely to engage the same.

If this were a chess match, Trump is about six pieces down, he's lost his queen, he castled into trouble, and we're now at that stage where the opponent is just sort of chasing the king around the board and it's about three or four moves until checkmate.

I mean, talk smack if you wanna, but this does not look good. There's literally about 6-7 different charges he has little if any defense for that could drop any moment though they'll probably have to wait until after the election.
