RINOs in Congress like the waste as much as the congessional Democrats. They make big bucks from the waste / fraud.

It would take all of American citizens to write their respective congressmen and demand that they vigorously support cutting the wasteful / fraudulent spending that DOGE had uncovered. Too many non-elected officials (‘regular’) Americans have jobs which are partially supported by some aspect of government waste; they will therefore oppose all DOGE recommendations to elimate waste for fear that the aspect of waste that butters their bread might get caught up in the DOGE-recommended cuts.

For all of the complaining that Americans do about government waste, they become silent when real cuts are being considered.

We know we know.

But to the garden variety voter (I.e., those who have minimal understanding of things that really matter), what is important is how the politician looks (Mike Pence hair for ‘conservatives’ and pancake makeup for every one) and sounds (tone of voice) that matters the most. Sound bites like ‘stop giving tax breaks to billionaires’ and ‘we support the military’ are the other big deal.

The Democrats have worked hard to impugn cutting government waste and corruption by creating new sound bites (disgusting lies) that DOGE is trying to cut Social Security and Medicare. They are also doing a good job of impugn8ng tax cuts as stopping funding for life saving medicines and world peace initiatives.

As you said, the RINOs are all in with the Democrats because they fear that THEIR money laundering schemes will be next in the chopping block. The RINOs just don’t talk about it.

On the other hand, there are those who are highly knowledgeable about politics; they have no moral barrier to keep,them from lying about anything & everything that might just maybe possibly encourage a non-special interest voter to vote for Team Deep State.

On the TNet politics board, it is becoming apparent which ones are in the fields such as NGOs, federal govt employees, public school teachers, and university administrators / professors. 90%+ of people working in these fields dee a real risk to the work / life combo that they love, and that they couldn’t recreate in the private sector.

Zero oversight and zero accountability is what underpins their special interest jobs.
